"Professor Ben Wu elected to Academy of Prosthodontics"

Prof. Ben Wu was recently elected to the Academy of Prosthodontics, the oldest and by far the most prestigious professional organization in his specialty field of prosthodontics. Founded in 1918 by distinguished leaders in the field, the Academy established the American Board of Prosthodontics which administers the annual board certification examination, and its members continue to set the clinical and scientific standards for the specialty. Unlike other prosthodontic organizations with over 2,700 members, there are only 71 Active Fellows and 11 Associate Fellows in this elite academy, where election to Associate Fellow requires a minimum of two-thirds vote at the Executive Council level, and three fourths vote by current fellows. We congratulate Prof. Wu on his remarkable accomplishment.
