Lab-Created Viruses for Drug Delivery at UCLA
Research from Professor Tim Deming's lab was recently highlighted as one of Popular Mechanics' health science breakthroughs. The Deming Lab has been working on using lab-created viruses as a more direct and natural way of delivering medication to cells.
Professor Deming received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley. He has been distinguished with the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award and the NSF Career Award, currently researches polymer and material synthesis and biomedical applications of polypeptide materials.
