The Bioengineering Capstone Group E (Michael Chan, Jaime Mayner, Aalhad Patankar, Mark Svet, Allison Walters) participated and won third place in the Mentored Showcase/Shark Tank event at the 17th Annual University of California Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium. It was held from June 13-15, 2016 and was hosted by the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). The group won with their project, “VPSmart: A Novel CSF Shunt Design to Better Diagnose Hydrocephalus.”
