Dr. Daniel Kamei of the Department of Bioengineering was awarded the 2015 UCLA Distinguished Teaching Award for Academic Senate Faculty. This award has been a tradition since 1961, and Dr. Kamei is only the 14th Senate Faculty member in the School of Engineering to win this award that honors “individuals who bring respect and admiration to the scholarship of teaching.”
