Bioengineering Undergraduate student, Nikan Namiri, has received the Undergraduate Design and Research Award for the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This award went to students based on their originality, significance, thoroughness of design analysis, and performance evaluation on their respective research.

Namiri would like to take the members of Grundfest lab for training him and teaching him everything that enabled him to receive this award for his research. Particularly he would like to acknowledge Professor Warren Grundfest, Dr. George Saddik, and Ashkan Maccabi.

The BMES Annual Meeting will be held from October 5-8, 2016 at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minnesota.
