Starting this past Winter quarter on February 3, 2023, the Bioengineering department hosted their first BioE Connections Hour. It is held weekly every Friday from 3-4PM. The whole Bioengineering department of faculty, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students, and staff is invited to this weekly networking and community building opportunity over some complimentary refreshments. Below are some highlights from special Connections Hour events.
On February 10, 2023, the Connections Hour was held in partnership with Research Day. The BE community connected with prospective Ph.D. students during their recruitment visit on Research Day!
On March 3, 2023, the Connections Hour was held in partnership with the Graduate Student Open House. Faculty and current graduate students connected with admitted M.S. and Ph.D. students who came to visit campus!
On March 17, 2023, the Connections Hour was held in partnership with the annual capstone design symposium. The BE community connected with undergraduate students and supported their research projects!
