Eva Chen

Eva Chen graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Bioengineering in 2018, and a M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2019. While at UCLA, she was the President of Biomedical Engineering Society, and a researcher in the Ozcan lab, working on point-of-care diagnostics devices. She has previously interned on the Apple Health Technologies team, focusing on health applications and the Apple Watch, as well as on the Medtronic Diabetes team, focusing on algorithms and analytics for the continuous glucose monitor. Currently, she works as a Product Manager on the Microsoft Health and Life Sciences team, leading efforts to provide open source tools and samples to help customers store and utilize FHIR data, a new interoperable medical data standard. In her free time, Eva enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and baking.
