On December 8, 2022, the Bioengineering department celebrated Dr. Ben Wu’s career at UCLA since he will be retiring from UCLA at the end of December 2022 after 22 years of service! Speeches by the department chair, faculty, former and current Bioengineering staff, graduate student representative and  undergraduate student representative were made to honor Dr. Wu.  Following Dr. Wu’s speech, Dr. Chase Linsley handed him a frame with photos and wishes of Wu lab members, and Dr. Song Li (Chair) and Daphne-Jane Dizon (MSO) presented two frames filled with kind messages from members of the department.  Dr. Wu cut a big cake with the text “ Thank you, Professor Wu!”, and over 120 participants shared the cake.
